Order some pizza and guys you need to improve please, no cooked well, no flavor, not good at all.

Excellent appetizers: shrimp cocktail, stuffed mushrooms, meatballs. Steak cooked perfectly. Husband enjoyed cannoli for dessert. I was too stuffed.

The service was great I was disappointed because my steak didn't come out like I wanted it and the noise level in there was too high. I might go back for them to redeem themselves.

The food was FABULOUS again!! Best Filet we have ever had!! Chris, our waiter was amazing!!! A wonderful night that helped us forget about the world for awhile!! We needed it!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, cheesy garlic bread, tortellini alla panna, and a stuffed mushroom. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. Even the garlic bread wasn't good.

My wife and I were on a date night thought we would try a local Italian restaurant pictures look great. Appetizers were good, I ordered a ribeye asked for it medium, came out medium well I complained that it was a little dry. the waitress took it back to the chef he told her to have me come to the kitchen because he couldn't make it any better and the lighting in the kitchen was would show that it was perfect. For someone to tell me my steak is perfect that is not eating my steak is very presumptuous, I would never go back here. Alfredo taste like fontina not Alfredo service was good my waitress was Kelly but food and management is terrible.

The food and service are top notch. You will not be disappointed with anything you order here.

A 16 oz fillet that is amazing! But great food all around

This is a favorite of ours! My husband gets the filet every time and says it's the BEST steak he's ever had (and we are foodies!) I can never pass up on the parmesan encrusted portobello. It is incredibly juicy and absolutely devine. The inside is a little loud and wish there was some background music but outside seating has typically got some kind of band playing whether there or across the street at Vino Villa that you can still hear. We feel the price is really reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Our bill along with a very good tip is always about $80 (without alcohol). The dress is casual but we usually go for a special occasion so we like to dress up a bit. You cannot go wrong here with anything you choose! It's all delicious!!

Terrible experience for the price, wait, and service. We tried this based on reviews and came here for a birthday dinner. We waited almost 2 hours for food and it was subpar don’t see the hype. Found a hair in dinner and then also had a hair in our dessert. With all the rating would have thought it would be a fantastic Italian meal and found the quality to be comparable to a national chains.

2 hrs to get our food. Not joking. 2 hours. Server has our method of payment in hand for 30 minutes. Also not joking. Server drops open ink pen on my shirt and ruins it. Does not apologize. Managers clearly do not care. Support another locally owned business because this one cannot time food or treat guests with courtesy. There was a time when this was the best place on the Southside. That time is long gone.

I was leading by example - keeping our money close to home by eating at a local, family-owned restaurant. Others have not disappointed; however, we were sorely disappointed. While dining at La Trattoria, at least seven people were inside walking around unmasked. I pulled aside one of the owners to talk about it and was told simply, “I can’t do anything about that,” as she walked away, unapologetically. Actually, you can do something about it. In fact, you’re expected to do just that. I think education from Johnson County Health Department - Indiana is necessary here in the egregious case where the owners don’t even ask patrons to don a mask. As I was leaving, I was verbally assaulted by another owner, Tom. Tom told me that he had my name on the credit card slip and would sue me for harassment. Okay, Tom, go for it. I’d like to see you sue me for asking that you honor a mask mandate from Governor Eric Holcomb. It’s hard for me to fathom a business who needs local support but who doesn’t care about exposing his or her customers to COVID. I don’t know how many of his customers walked away after seeing him go into a rage on me at the front entrance, but he sure did bring attention to himself. I can say now that I will NEVER return to La Trattoria unless it falls under new ownership. I’ve never been so disrespected at a business in all my life. Total disregard for the law and for the safety of customers.

My husband and I come here every year on our anniversary. We’ve always had excellent service, and their food is amazing. We only go for on our anniversary, because it’s hour and and thirty minute drive from our home. I would definitely go more if I lived closer. It’s definitely a must try.

Food was good. Nice atmosphere minus the family members associated with those who run it, who eat dinner in clothes that look like they just finished yard work.

La Trattoria came highly recommended. Decided spur of the moment to try it. Our server was excellent and attentive. Sadly, the pasta left us wanting. We had 3 different types of pasta. Each was bland and mostly flavorless. The sauces helped but did not rescue the dishes. Overall an experience that did not leave us wishing to return.

Our 1st time here and it was excellent. My wife, daughter, and I really enjoyed the great quality of food and very friendly staff. I highly recommend and we will be back for sure. Great Place!

Amazing food!

Best meal we have had out in a very long time (or possibly ever).Husband got the 18oz boneless Ribeye and I got the 12 oz Filet Mignon, both were so tender & juicy it was like they just melted in your mouth. Everything was served piping hot and cooked to perfection. A lot of places that serve steak let your steak “rest” (get cold) before serving it, not at La Trattoria!!! Would HIGHLY recommend eating here, you won’t find better steak anywhere!

Excellent service, food was cooked to perfection, the steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork, an the chicken was the best I have ever had!! Can't wait to return!!!

Was there Saturday night for dinner. Food was good but not great. I was concerned that the staff were not using masks.

Super good small and cozy. Food was awesome and service everything one could wish.

Everything about this place is killer, however our server, Sydney (Dakota) made our experience. Looking forward to going back...SOON!

Did take out on a Friday, and the food was hot and delicious. The filet comes with a side of pasta, highly recommend the Alfredo.
